An American Girl Goes Red

American Girl, Li, is all dressed up for the Christmas party.  There will be presents and lots of good food.  We'll have chicken stew and Vietnamese sausage.

Merry Christmas and good night, all my dear friends.  Time to get some sleep.

Little Maria is Wearing Red, Too

Heart disease affects women of all ethnicities.  Little Maria is wearing red for Christmas and for women.

Feliz Navidad!

Baby Dawn Has a New Red Dress

Baby Dawn knows that February 3, 2012, is national wear red day to bring awareness to women's heart disease and things women can do to improve their heart health.  Yea, Baby Dawn.  Won't you join her on February 3rd and wear something red?
Baby Dawn has a red headband decorated with pearls and lace.

Little Engineer ... Forever Youthful

"What can I give Him?  I'll give Him my heart."
He would make a perfect "Drummer Boy."

Dolls Go Red For Women's Heart Health

The American Heart Association has continued its program of "Women Go Red" for heart health.  I have taken that same theme and dressed some dolls in red to bring attention to the campaign for women's heart health.  http://www.heart.org/.

This "Hilda" doll is wearing a handmade "Christmas" dress that was given to me as a gift.

What a sweet cherub!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Ice Cream Cone

..."Mamma, this ice cream cone ornament looks good enough to eat!" says baby Treasure, a doll created by Fay Zah Spanos in 1996.

Josephina

Lovely Josephina is reading a Christmas story.  She is a beautiful girl with a sweet spirit.  ("Shay" by Donna Rubert.)

Shay or Josephina, as I call her, was purchased from Mrs. Johnson of California, in Phoenix, AZ, perhaps around 1993 or 1994, at the Phoenix Doll Show.  What a face!
